For 2010 ICE has made some changes that are quite impressive. At the Interbike trade show I was able to see the new 2010 ICE trikes and test ride some of them. I can say that not only is the engineering impressive but the aesthetics are great.
I will update my website with pictures I will take of the new models as I receive them (beginning in February). For now I will add some stock ICE photos.
Here are some of the highlights:
ICE has reengineered the way the trikes fold making them much more compact and easier to fold.
Front suspension is now available - and it is retrofittable to recent ICE trikes.
The new models are available with different levels of components/features from level 1 with no suspension, level 2 with rear wheel suspension and level 3 with full suspension - all three wheels suspended.
The Q/Qnt is now the Sprint
The T/Tnt is now the Adventure
Vortex is the new high end speed demon model.
The Trice trikes are incredibly adjustable, not only boom length, seat angle and suspension firmness but with optional seat mounts that can be fitted to quite short or quite tall people! The Sprint and Adventure come with web seat or an optional hard-shell seat; the Vortex comes with a hard-shell seat.
These trikes are very well thought out - the attention to detail is great - ICE has been building recumbent trikes since 1986 and their years of experience show in their products. Email or call us for a test ride in Albany California on the San Francisco Bay Trail.
